Disney+ to join Hulu in streaming top music festivals
The two streamers will share the Austin City Limits festival, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza in 2026.
Hulu has made a name for itself as a destination for live concerts. The streamer has hosted many performances over the years, including live streams of top music festivals. Now, its corporate streaming partner wants in on the action; starting in 2026, Disney+ will begin streaming live music festivals also shown on Hulu, as its parent company works to bring the two streamers closer together.
Key Details:
- Far out!: Disney+ will begin streaming live music festivals in 2026.
- Strong tradition: This year will mark Hulu’s sixth year as a partner for Live Nation festivals.
- Moving closer: Disney pledged to fully integrate its two streamers this year.

Disney+ will join Hulu in offering live streams of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Lollapalooza, and the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Each of these festivals will be available to stream live across both services for the first time in 2026.
Disney+ has offered concert specials and music documentaries in the past, including titles featuring world-famous artists like Elton John and Taylor Swift. But the addition of these music festivals marks a new step for the streamer, which has expanded its live programming offerings to include some sports from ESPN, and even news from ABC.
“Music festivals are among the most electric, can’t-miss moments in culture, and now Disney+ and Hulu subscribers around the world can experience the excitement,” Disney executive Lauren Tempest said. “As we continue to extend our live offerings, we remain committed to bringing fans the biggest, most iconic moments right as they happen, and are thrilled to bring that vision to life with Live Nation.”
Hulu has been a streaming partner for Live Nation concerts and events for six years. By streaming these concerts on both platforms, Disney is moving closer to its goal of a full integration of Disney+ and Hulu by the end of 2026.
“Music festivals used to be experiences reserved for the people who could physically be there,” Live Nation EVP Kevin Chernett said. “Now they’re becoming global live moments that fans want to experience together in real time, no matter where they are in the world. Expanding this partnership with Disney+ and Hulu allows these festivals to reach music fans at an entirely different scale.”
Bonnaroo will be held from June 11 through 14, Lollapalooza July 30 through Aug. 2, and Austin City Limits Oct. 2 through 4. More details about each festival, including performance schedules, will be available as they draw closer.
