Does Disney Plus Have a Free Trial?

Does Disney Plus Have a Free Trial?

Known for breaking major streaming stories, he’s covered everything from Netflix policy shifts to Peacock’s ad-tier changes. A sci-fi fan and Toshiba Fire TV user, he brings sharp analysis and a love for the genre to his reporting.

It’s always better when a streaming service offers a free trial, but viewers already know exactly what they’re getting with Disney+: exclusive access to new shows and movies from the Marvel and Star Wars franchises like “The Acolyte” and “X-Men '97.” That gives Disney+ the confidence to offer its service without any kind of free trial.

Fortunately, there are several bundling options available with Disney+, and viewers can save up to 40% off Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ by subscribing to all three.

What Disney+ Plans Are Available?

Disney+ has two plans for customers who want to subscribe to just that service: its ad-supported Basic plan and its ad-free Premium plan.

  • Disney+ Basic (ad-supported): $7.99 per month
  • Disney+ Premium (ad-free): $13.99 per month

Disney+ carries more than 2,000 TV shows and movies of its own, and the Marvel and Star Wars franchises are just the beginning. Classic animated Disney titles from “Snow White” to “The Lion King” are available with the service, as well as all of Pixar’s greatest hits and much more.

For bargain-minded viewers, Disney+ still offers incredible value even without a free trial. The streamer can easily be bundled with other Disney-owned services, with ad-supported and ad-free combinations available. For only $2 per month more than a Disney+ Basic subscription, viewers can bundle ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu together and pay just $9.99 per month, instead of the $15.98 viewers would pay for the two services separately. Viewers who opt for this bundle can watch a large portion of Hulu’s inventory on the Disney+ app itself, and they have the option to cut out ads on both services for $9.99 per month.

Customers who want sports in their Disney Bundle can upgrade to the Trio Basic option. This has ad-supported Hulu and Disney+, as well as full access to ESPN+ for just $14.99 per month. Check out the full schedule of Disney Bundle options here:

Disney Bundle Monthly Price
Duo Premium: Disney+ (No Ads), Hulu (No Ads) $19.99
Duo Basic: Disney+ (With Ads), Hulu (With Ads) $9.99
Trio Premium: Disney+ (No Ads), Hulu (No Ads), ESPN+ (With Ads) $24.99
Trio Basic: Disney+ (With Ads), Hulu (With Ads), ESPN+ (With Ads) $14.99

It’s very simple to sign up for a Disney+ account, and the company makes it easy for viewers to know exactly what they’re getting and what they’ll be paying for every prospective bundle combination Disney offers. Disney+ may not offer a free trial of its own, but there are still ways to unlock great value when you sign up for the service.

Disney+

Disney+ is a video streaming service with over 13,000 series and films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, The Muppets, and more. It is available in 61 countries and 21 languages. It is notable for its popular original series like “The Mandalorian,” “Ms. Marvel,” “Loki,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and “Andor.”

…

Disney+ has several plans with or without ads. Disney+ Basic with Ads costs $11.99 / month. If you don’t want ads, you can choose Disney+ Premium with No Ads, which costs $19.99 / month.

The Premium plan also offers an annual option for $189.99 / year ($15.83/mo.).

If you’d like to add Hulu, you can bundle the two services as well, but Disney+ is also continuing to integrate the two, which will soon be an all-in-one offering.

Sports fans can also bundle ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited, with or without ads.

Disney+ most recently raised prices on September 23, 2026 — the fourth time in as many years.

The app supports unlimited downloads (on their Premium Plans), four simultaneous streamers, up to 7 profiles, 4K streaming, and includes hundreds of avatars.

The service includes 25+ original series, 10+ original movies, 7,500 past episodes, 100 recent movies, and 400 library titles, including the entire Disney Vault.
