To make it easier for viewers to experience the best sound possible, Dolby has partnered with LG to unveil a new, modular home audio system that connects to your smart TV wirelessly.

The new LG Sound Suite, developed in collaboration with Dolby, utilizes Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, providing viewers with greater flexibility in configuring their home theater system. Sound Suite features the H7 Soundbar, to which viewers can connect more wireless speakers via FlexConnect and set them up anywhere in the room.
The announcement also revealed that Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is coming to more devices in the near future. The latest model of LG smart TV will include Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, unlocking even more ways to use Dolby Atmos to improve the audio experience while streaming.

The LG Sound Suite will offer 27 different speaker configurations, up to a full 13.1.7 channel home theater system. FlexConnect will work with any TV while using the H7 soundbar that comes with LG Sound Suite as the lead device. It’s a great way to modify a home theater to exacting specifications, using wireless speakers to make for a true surround sound experience.
