Disney offers numerous ways to save on its various streaming products, but most of them revolve around signing up for some variation of the Disney Bundle. However, if your particular interests are more on the sci-fi and superhero side of things, or if you are looking for a way to stream family-friendly titles from the Disney vault, Pixar, Disney Channel, and more, then this deal might just be perfect for you.
If you sign up today, you will save 75% on Disney+ Basic, which is the streamer’s ad-supported subscription option. Normally, the plan carries an $8 monthly fee, but you can get it for just $2 through this deal. That means that you can pay for three months and still have $2 left over compared to what one month would normally cost.
However, keep in mind that by the time the three-month discount runs out near the end of the year, the price of the service will have gone up. In October, Disney is raising the price on nearly all of its streaming products, and Disney+ Basic will increase to $10 monthly. If it turns out that you like Disney+ during your promo period and want to keep it after three months, I would recommend converting to the Disney Bundle Duo Basic before you are billed for a full month of Disney+ on its own, because the Bundle Duo Basic will allow you to keep your access to Disney+, but it will also add in Hulu with ads. And while Disney+ Basic will cost $10 on its own, the Duo Basic price will be just $11, saving you $9 from subscribing to both individually.
What Can You Watch on Disney+ Basic?
For the duration of the three-month deal, you will have access to Disney+’s entire library of shows and movies. And while the Basic plan is ad-supported, there are limited commercial interruptions on kids’ programming. You can watch everything from Disney animated classics like “Alice in Wonderland” and “Cinderella” to more modern favorites like “Bluey” and “Encanto.” However, there is much more than just kids programming on Disney+, the streamer has a wide variety of other content, from “The Simpsons” to new hit Marvel series “Agatha All Along” to the upcoming Star Wars series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” which premieres on Dec. 3.
