Get ready for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ before its release
The new series sets Matthew Murdock on another collision course with Wilson Fisk, and you can get all the details we have about it here.
Get ready for a return to the mean streets of New York City in “Daredevil: Born Again.” The Marvel television series will see Charlie Cox return to the character he first embodied in Netflix’s “Daredevil” series back in 2015. If you’re not sure how the show will connect to its roots, or where it falls in the Disney lexicon of Marvel superheroes, check out all the details we know so far about it below so you’re fully caught up when it premieres on Disney+.
Everything you need to know about “Daredevil: Born Again”
Is there a trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’?
Marvel released a new trailer for the series on Jan. 15, and you can see it below:
When will ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ be released?
The series premiere episode of “Daredevil: Born Again” will be released on Disney+ on Tuesday, March 4.
Will ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ be a weekly release?
This has not yet officially been confirmed, but I expect “Daredevil: Born Again” to follow the release pattern of other Marvel series on Disney+ and release one episode every Tuesday until the season ends. There is the possibility of there being a double-episode finale, but since the premiere is only one episode it is likely that the rest of the season will follow suit.
What is ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ about?
Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
How does ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ connect with past Marvel shows?
It appears “Daredevil: Born Again” will be a continuation of the story told in Netflix’s “Daredevil” series. Characters like Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) will return for “Born Again,” as will Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle.
It’s not yet clear if other heroes from Netflix’s series “Iron Fist, “Jessica Jones,” or “Luke Cage” will be involved in “Daredevil: Born Again” yet. But as fans saw in “She-Hulk: Attorney At Law” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Cox’s Daredevil is meant to be a part of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Will ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ be as violent as past seasons of the show?
From the looks of the trailer above, it appears that “Daredevil: Born Again” will be every bit as gruesome as the Netflix show that preceded it. Viewers who were afraid the violence of the character would be watered down because of “Born Again” being released on Disney+ will be relieved to note that doesn’t appear to be the case.
How can you stream Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ and related Marvel shows?
All of the Netflix shows featuring Marvel characters were shifted to Disney+ in 2022. You can find them there now!
