We’ll let you know all the details we have about the show so far, and when you can expect to be able to watch it!

Everything you need to know about ‘Dexter: Resurrection’

When does ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ come out?

“Dexter: Resurrection” does not have a concrete premiere date thus far, though Paramount has confirmed that the series will be released sometime during the summer of 2025. Production begins this month, so it might be wiser to assume the series won’t be ready to stream until July or August.

What is ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ about?

“Dexter: Resurrection” takes place after the conclusion of “Dexter: New Blood.” There are few details available about the show so far, but it will feature Dexter, his son Harrison, and his father Harry to various degrees. It will be fascinating to see how much Dexter himself appears in the show since the conclusion of “Dexter: New Blood” certainly made it seem as if he died… permanently. However, in “Dexter: Original Sin,” it is revealed that Dexter survived his shooting at the end of the 2021 “New Blood” series.

Who will star in ‘Dexter: Resurrection’?

Michael C. Hall will return to the titular role of Dexter in the show. Jack Alcott will reprise his role as Dexter’s son Harrison, and James Renar is also coming back as Dexter’s father Harry. David Zayas is likewise returning to portray Detective Angel Batista. Other casting announcements are likely to follow soon.

Where will ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ stream?

Paramount+ with SHOWTIME will be the exclusive streaming home of “Dexter: Resurrection.” Like the current series “Dexter: Original Sin,” audiences will not be able to watch the show on the ad-supported Paramount+ Essentials plan. Paramount+ with SHOWTIME costs $13 per month to subscribe to, and includes ad-free playback, as well as a live stream of viewers’ local CBS stations.

Will ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ be on linear TV?

There’s been no official word from Paramount on this question, but it appears likely. “Dexter: Original Sin” currently releases new episodes on the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME streaming platform first, but also airs them on the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME cable channel on Sunday evenings. “Resurrection” will likely follow a similar pattern.

Is there a trailer for ‘Dexter: Resurrection’?

Not at this time. Trailers and other promotional materials for “Dexter: Resurrection” are likely to come out one or two months ahead of the show’s actual release date.

Where can you stream other ‘Dexter’ titles?

The original “Dexter” series, as well as “New Blood” and “Original Sin” are now available to stream on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.
