Everything you need to know about ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2
Is there a trailer for ‘Peacemaker’ S2?
Not yet, but while fans wait for the series to return, here’s the show’s uniquely beloved opening credits sequence.
When is ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 releasing?
“Peacemaker” Season 2 is due to come out in August 2025, as announced by Warner Bros. Discovery in mid-November 2024.
What happened in ‘Peacemaker’ Season 1?
“Peacemaker” follows the adventures of Christopher Smith, a.k.a. the Peacemaker, a vigilante under the control of Amanda Waller. He’s forced to join a black ops unit run by A.R.G.U.S., in order to fight a race of insect-like aliens who can burrow into the skulls of victims and control them.
As these so-called “Butterflies” take control of law enforcement officials, Peacemaker and his team realize the only way to stop them is to destroy their food source. Taking a brief respite to kill his white supremacist father, Peacemaker and the team plan to incinerate the alien food source — a “cow” hidden in a barn.
At the end, however, the Butterflies reveal they fled their planet to avoid climate change, and want to control humans to keep the same thing from happening on Earth. Ultimately he sides with his fellow Earthlings, and at that moment the Justice League shows up to fight the aliens and save the day…late as usual.
