Stream the best international TV with MHz Choice
Stream unedited international mysteries, dramas, and comedies with English subtitles anytime you want.
I’m a sucker for a great murder mystery, and sometimes Europe just does it better. Sure, there are subtitles, but if “Squid Game” taught us anything, it’s that a great story matters far more than what language the characters are speaking. So, if you’re a fan of international movies and TV and haven’t heard of MHz Choice, consider this a sign to check it out. As one of the premiere streamers for exclusive international mysteries, dramas, and comedies, MHz Choice gives you over 2,500 hours of content – all unedited with easy-to-read English subtitles. From quirky French mysteries like “Alexandra Ehle” to darker tales from Finland like “Arctic Circle,” there’s a gripping story waiting to be discovered. Here’s everything you need to know about MHz Choice.
Everything you need to know about MHz Choice
What is MHz Choice?
MHz Choice is a streaming service that offers a huge selection of international mysteries, dramas, and comedies. With over 2,500 hours of content from more than 30 countries, all presented unedited with easy-to-read English subtitles, it’s the go-to streamer for fans of global storytelling.
And earlier this year, MHz Choice got even better. It merged with Topic, uniting their libraries to create a premier destination for international series. Not only did this merger expand MHz Choice’s offering by adding more options with English dubbing, but it also introduced popular titles like Denmark’s “The Killing,” the U.K.’s “Temple,” and Germany’s “Pagan Peak.”
What truly sets MHz Choice apart, though, is its exclusive content not found on other streaming platforms. For example, the Swedish drama “Fallen,” starring Sofia Helin (from “The Bridge”), is set to premiere exclusively on MHz Choice on Tuesday, Dec. 10. For anyone interested in exploring international stories, there’s no better option.

What popular international shows and movies can you watch on MHz Choice?
One of MHz Choice’s most popular shows is the Danish drama, “The Killing.” It follows detective Sarah Lund as she investigates one chilling murder case after another, weaving together police work, political intrigue, and family drama, while redefining the genre with its atmospheric storytelling and complicated characters.
For fans of historical drama, there’s the German series, “Babylon Berlin.” A visually stunning German crime drama that immerses viewers in the chaotic glamour of 1920s Berlin, the series follows Inspector Gereon Rath as he investigates complex cases that begin to reveal the darker side of the Weimar Republic.
Another popular series on MHz Choice is “Spiral” out of France. The crime drama digs into the intricate workings of Paris’s judicial system, following a diverse ensemble of police officers, lawyers, and judges as they navigate complex criminal cases, giving viewers a gritty and realistic portrayal of law enforcement and the legal process.
For movie fans who like their crime with a twist of science fiction, there’s “Back in Crime” - a 2013 French crime thriller directed by Germinal Alvarez. The film follows Detective Richard Kemp, played by Jean-Hugues Anglade, who is investigating a murder that mirrors a serial killer case from his early career. Suddenly, Kemp is transported 20 years into the past, just before the original murders began. Seizing this opportunity, he tries to prevent the killings when he encounters a younger version of Hélène Batistelli, a psychiatrist linked to the case, giving a unique twist on the traditional detective story.
