“Freakier Friday” brings Curtis and Lohan back together as Tess and Anna Coleman, a mother-daughter combo who now have a close relationship. Anna now has a daughter of her own, and will soon welcome a step-daughter into the family. As they navigate the challenge of families merging, Tess and Anna realize they might need to generate a new identity crisis between them.
The movie has generated positive responses from both critics and preview audiences who have seen it so far. It scores a 73% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, and 94% of viewers who have scored a ticket for a preview screening agree that the movie is a worthwhile successor to the original film.

When will ‘Freakier Friday’ be available to stream?
There’s no need to guess about where “Freakier Friday” will stream once it leaves theaters. As with all other movies from Disney’s various studios, the movie will be available to watch on Disney+ once it’s no longer exclusive to cinemas.
It’s a bit more difficult to say when Disney+ will get “Freakier Friday,” but recent history suggests that a window of at least 100 days is likely. The live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch,” which was released in late May, was recently announced as premiering on Disney+ on Sept. 3, 103 days after its debut in theaters. There’s no reason to think “Freakier Friday” will have a shorter release window as of now.
If that window holds true for “Freakier Friday,” the movie will come out on Disney+ on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Until then, you can stream the 2003 version of the film on Disney+, as well as the 1977 original to help you really immerse yourself in the body-swapping fun.
