Fubo teams with The Athletic for new sports content hub

The hub will feature full-length podcast episodes from The Athletic and much more.

Known for breaking major streaming stories, he’s covered everything from Netflix policy shifts to Peacock’s ad-tier changes. A sci-fi fan and Toshiba Fire TV user, he brings sharp analysis and a love for the genre to his reporting.

Fubo has made its reputation as a sports-first streaming service, and it continues to uphold that reputation even as it has expanded into a more inclusive live TV streaming service. The streamer has announced a new partnership that helps recall its sports roots: a deal for a new hub packed with content from The Athletic, the highly respected digital sports journalism platform.

Key Details:

  • Watch now: Fubo subscribers can now find The Athletic Video Hub on the streamer.
  • Podcasts and more: The hub has full-length podcast episodes, commentary and analysis, and more.
  • FAST, too: A smaller inventory of Athletic content will stream on the Fubo Sports Network FAST channel.

Fubo’s new The Athletic Video Hub is now available to subscribers on paid plans. The hub includes full episodes of The Athletic’s most popular podcasts, including “The Athletic Football Show,” “The Sports Gossip Show,” “Rates & Barrels,” “NBA Daily,” “The Tennis Podcast,” and “No Offseason.”

Fans will also find short-form commentary and analysis of major sports events, including season and game previews, game picks, schematic breakdowns of on-field action, and more. Viewers will also see highlights and real-time reaction to the most important sports moments in the hub.

“The Athletic is already a valuable partner in connecting with our shared audience of passionate sports fans, and streaming their coveted video content on Fubo is the next phase of our already successful collaboration,” Fubo EVP Yale Wang said. “The Athletic is one of the most trusted sources in sports media, and we are proud to bring their leading coverage to streaming TV in a way that’s never been done before.”

Although The Athletic Video Hub is intended for Fubo subscribers, viewers will also be able to see the partnership in action on free streaming platforms. Select video content from The Athletic will also air on Fubo Sports Network, the free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel available on The Roku Channel, Tubi, and other free streaming platforms.

(Explore the comprehensive list of Fubo’s sports channels.) Fubo recently launched an add-on to their sports package, allowing subscribers access to local RSNs as well.

In September 2025, Fubo also launched its Sports package for $45.99 per month, featuring a variety of sports-oriented channels including ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates (in select markets) as well as ACC Network, Big 10 Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox News, FS1, FS2, Fubo Sports Network, ION, NFL Network, SEC Network and Tennis Channel.
