Hallmark renewed ‘When Calls the Heart’ for 13th season
Fans can stream all existing seasons of ‘When Calls the Heart’ on Hallmark+ now.
It’s official! One of the most popular, long-running shows on TV has been renewed for an historic 13 season. On to coincide with the 12th season finale of “When Calls the Heart,” Hallmark Channel announced that its iconic series — which first premiered in 2014 — will be back in 2026 with Season 13.

“When Calls the Heart” will roll out its 13th season sometime in 2026, which likely means pre-production has already started. The show follows a teacher living in the 1900s named Elizabeth, who decides to leave her relatively luxurious life in the city behind in favor of a small frontier town. In Season 12, Elizabeth explored her new romance with Mounty Nathan Grant.

Season 13 of the show will air new episodes on the linear Hallmark Channel first. The day after those episodes drop on Hallmark Channel, they will be available to stream on-demand on the Hallmark+ streaming service. All previous seasons of “When Calls the Heart” can be streamed on Hallmark+ now.

Hallmark Channel was the most-watched cable entertainment network of 2024, and “When Calls the Heart” was a big reason why. The show’s 11th season was the second-most-watched original series on a cable entertainment channel among women 18 and over during the year, a testament to its continued popularity more than 10 years after its original premiere.
