Is it possible to cancel free streamer Tubi?
How to remove yourself from the Tubi platform, and which services you can enjoy next.
With a subscription streaming service like Apple TV or Paramount+, an unsatisfied customer’s path to no longer being charged for a service is fairly straightforward: one simply cancels that subscription and saves that money to be spent elsewhere. But what about free streaming services like Tubi that specialize in ad-supported on-demand titles and free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels? Do these platforms require you to cancel if you want to stop using them, as well? Find out what you need to know below.
Everything you need to know about canceling Tubi
Can you cancel a Tubi subscription?
No, there is no way to cancel a Tubi subscription. No need to fret — this doesn’t mean you’re locked into Tubi forever, no matter what your feelings are on the matter. All it means is that, because Tubi has no subscription fees in the first place, there’s nothing to “cancel” when you want to stop watching. Just stop watching!
Tubi does allow viewers to create a free account in order to track their viewing progress and watchlists across devices, however. While Tubi does ask viewers to create an account to use the platform, it will never ask them for payment information of any kind.
How to delete a Tubi account
If you don’t want to leave your information in Tubi’s hands for any reason, you can always delete your account. Doing so and creating one later is easy if you decide you want to return to Tubi at another time.
To delete your Tubi account:
- Head to the Tubi website and sign in.
- Click your name in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Choose Account Settings.
