How to change email address and password on Sling TV

Changing your email address on Sling TV actually works a fair bit differently than other streaming services. Instead of being able to adjust it in your account settings menu, you have to get help from the Sling TV chatbot to change an email address. :

  1. Click here to log into Sling TV.
  2. Click the Chat icon at the bottom-right of the screen.
  3. Authenticate your identity with your username and password.
  4. Enter the last four digits of the credit card you have on file.
  5. Enter billing zip code.
  6. Once prepared, ask the Chatbot to “change my email address.”

Changing your password is a little easier on Sling TV. To do this, head back to the Sling TV website on any browser and go to your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. From the My Account dashboard:

  1. Click Change Password.
  2. Enter new password.
  3. Confirm the new password and click Submit.

How to update payment information on Sling TV

  1. Go back to the Sling TV website, and find the My Account menu using the instructions above.
  2. Click Update Payment Information.
  3. Follow on-screen prompts to secure your account.
  4. Enter new payment method details.

What other account settings can you adjust on Sling TV?

The Sling TV account settings also allow you to view your billing details, redeem a promo code to save on a month of service if you have one, refer a friend to Sling, or cancel your subscription. You can also update your personal information, such as your name, birthdate, and address.

Sling’s settings allow you to change your communications preferences, see the list of devices your account is active on, view supported devices that you can watch Sling with, and sign yourself out of all devices. Finally, you can edit your Sling subscription and switch to a different service on the streamer in the Edit Subscription section.
