How to upgrade HBO Max to ad-free
To upgrade to an ad-free HBO Max subscription, click here to log into the HBO Max website. Locate your profile icon (found in the top-right corner on a computer), and find the Subscriptions tab in the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over the icon with your cursor.
Click the Change Your Plan option, and choose the monthly or annual option of the Standard or Premium plan. Click Continue, then follow on-screen prompts to confirm your identity and finish choosing the new ad-free plan that works best for you.
What are the benefits of HBO Max ad-free plans?
In addition to cutting out ads, the Standard plan of HBO Max allows viewers to watch live sports from TNT and TBS with their subscription. Standard subscribers can also download up to 30 HBO Max titles to watch on the go, and stream on up to two devices at once.
