Anyone who subscribes to a paid Sling TV plan gets 50 hours of free DVR storage. Customers who watch only the ad-supported Sling Freestream service can save 10 hours of content to their DVR at no cost.

Viewers also get unlimited DVR space with Sling TV with an add-on for $5 per month. Unlimited DVR on Sling also comes with Replay, a feature that automatically stores top TV shows and movies on a rolling basis without requiring a setup.

How to record with Sling TV DVR

To set up a recording with Sling TV’s DVR, just navigate to the event in your programming guide on any Sling TV platform and click on it. Locate the Record button, then choose to record all episodes or record new episodes only.

How to watch recordings on Sling TV

To watch recorded titles on Sling TV, all you have to do is locate the DVR tab on the Sling TV app on any device you can watch the streamer on. Open it, select the recording you want to stream, and start watching.

How to delete a recording on Sling TV

To delete recordings and clean up your Sling TV DVR space, go into the DVR tab and select any program to see the available options. From there, you can modify recording options, delete individual episodes or whole series, or lock recordings to prevent them from being removed if you run out of space.
