Max is now HBO Max again, after officially being renamed by Warner Bros. Discovery.

To say that HBO Max has a big streaming library would be to damn the streamer with faint praise. Not only will you find a huge selection of HBO originals from past and present, but you’ll also be able to watch TV shows from Warner Bros. Discovery-owned cable networks like Discovery, Food Network, HGTV, Magnolia Network, and many others.

That’s before even mentioning the decades’ worth of movies from the Warner Bros. movie studio that are available with a subscription, and that all adds up to a library that can make it hard to keep track of all the titles you want to stream. Fortunately, HBO Max comes with a My List feature to let you bookmark TV shows and movies for later, and we’ll explain how to use it below.

What you need to know about using My List on HBO Max

How to use My List on HBO Max

Using My List on HBO Max is a fairly similar experience across the streamer’s connected TV app, its mobile app, and its web page. The first step in the process is to open HBO Max on your chosen platform, then navigate to the details page of the TV show or movie you want to save.

You’ll find the +My List button in the row of controls that allows you to start an episode over, watch the trailer, and perform other similar functions. The only difference between platforms is that on the HBO Max connected TV app, the + button that adds TV shows and movies to your playlist doesn’t have the text “My List” next to it.

Once you’ve pressed this button, you’re ready to find the title saved in the My List tab on your HBO Max home screen.

The My List or My Stuff tab is found at the top-right of the screen on the HBO Max website, and at the bottom of the screen on the mobile app. On the HBO Max connected TV app, My Stuff is at the top of the left-hand navigation menu that includes other browsing options.

Simply click into My List/My Stuff, and choose the show or movie you want to watch to begin playback.

How to delete titles from My List on HBO Max

There are two ways to remove a show or movie from My List on HBO Max. First, you can go back to the details page of the title you want to remove, then press the My List button again. You’ll see the checkmark icon next to the button change back into a +, which is how you’ll know it’s been pulled.

You can also log onto the HBO Max website and go to the My Stuff tab, then choose movies and shows to delete. Click the three-dot menu in the art of the title you want to pull, then click Remove to delete it.
