How to Watch 2024 British Open from Royal Troon: Live Stream, Start Time, More
The 2024 British Open tees off this week from Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Scotland, with the first round getting underway on Thursday, July 18, and running the Claret Jug being hoisted on Sunday, July 21. World No. 1, Scottie Scheffler, comes into the fourth and final major tournament of the year on a tear, having wracked up six PGA Tour wins this season, including a Masters win. Both USA Network and NBC will broadcast the 2024 British Open, and you can stream those channels on a number of live TV streaming services. The Open will also air for nearly four hours on Thursday and Friday on Peacock. Therefore, The Streamable’s expert recommendation for watching the 2024 Open Championship is to stream the USA and NBC broadcasts with a 5-Day Free Trial of DIRECTV and to add in a subscription to Peacock for the streaming-exclusive coverage.

About The 2024 British Open
NBC Sports has this year’s coverage of the 2024 British Open, and will provide golf lovers with over 50 hours of live championship coverage Thursday through Sunday. In addition to the main broadcasts on the USA Network and NBC, this wall-to-wall coverage will include featured groups (two groups in the morning and two in the afternoon on both Thursday and Friday), featured holes, and “Golf Central Live from The Open” studio coverage on Peacock and Golf Channel.
Along with Scheffler, keep an eye out for Bryson DeChambeau, who took the U.S. Open earlier this year, along with previous Open winners, Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa. Oh, and don’t count out three-time Open winner, Tiger Woods, who will play in all four major championships this year for the first time since 2019 when he won his fifth green jacket at The Masters.
On the call for the 2024 British Open Dan Hicks, Luke Donald, Mike Tirico, Brad Faxon, Terry Gannon, Paul McGinley, Steve Sands, and Notah Begay III. They will be assisted by on-course reporters John Wood, Smylie Kaufman, Jim “Bones” Mackay, Curt Byrum, and Cara Banks conducting interviews.
