About 2024 NASCAR YellaWood 500 Race
The YellaWood 500 Race will take place over 188 laps (500 total miles) of the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway – the largest oval on the NASCAR calendar. The track offers 33 degrees of banking in the turns, 16.5 degrees of banking on the tri-oval, and 3 degrees on the backstretch, and to succeed, drivers have to work together in the draft.
When it comes to the playoff schedule, the 10-race format is made up of four rounds, with four drivers eliminated every three weeks. If a driver wins a race – like Ross Chastain did last weekend in the Hollywood Casino 400 - he automatically advances to the next round, while the four drivers with the fewest points are eliminated after the round is over (unless they win a race). In the Round of 16, it was Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski, and Harrison Burton who were eliminated. The standings reset at the start of each round based on the number of playoff points drivers have added during the regular season. And in the final race, it’s a winner-take-all championship race for NASCAR supremacy. You can catch all the NASCAR action this weekend on USA Network and NBC.

Hulu + Live TV is our favorite way to watch the 2024 NASCAR YellaWood 500 Race, especially now that it offers a three-day free trial. And with plans starting at $76.99 per month, you can save a bit of money by going with this service. Not only does it carry USA Network to watch the race, but it also includes Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu in the price, which is a $14.99 monthly value. That makes Hulu + Live TV too good of a bargain to ignore for those who like to optimize their budgets.
Keep in mind that on Oct. 17, Disney will raise the price of nearly all of its streaming products, including Hulu + Live TV. Both the plan that includes the ad-supported Disney bundle and the one that comes with the ad-free option will increase by $6 per month.
