The Bears come into the Hall of Fame Game with rookie Caleb Williams locked into the starting quarterback job after head coach Matt Eberflus named him the immediate starter in May. Williams took home the Heisman Trophy in 2022 with the USC Trojans, completing 66.6 percent of his passes for 4,537 yards, 42 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions, while adding 10 rushing TDs. Chicago will look to him to end their QB curse after sending the 2021 No. 11 overall pick Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At the other end, last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, C.J. Stroud (Fields’ former teammate at Ohio State) will be looking to pick up where he left off after finishing eighth in yards with 4,108 and wracking up 23 touchdowns in 15 games.

On the call will be The Monday Night Football crew of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Lisa Salters, along with Laura Rutledge contributing to the broadcast with exclusive interviews with the Hall of Famers.
