About The 2024 US Open Men’s Tennis Semifinals

Taylor Fritz took down No. 4 ranked Alexander Zverev in a tight Quarterfinal match to clinch his first Grand Slam semifinal appearance. He’ll face Frances Tiafoe, who won his Quarterfinal match against No. 9 ranked Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria when he retired due to injury, handing Tiafoe the victory. Both Americans will look to become the first U.S. man to win the US Open since Andy Roddick in 2003.

On the other side of the bracket, Jack Draper cruised through his Quarterfinal against Alex Minaur in three sets, putting up 11 aces and six break-point conversions in the match. He won 84% of points on his first serve vs. de Minaur’s 67%. Draper will be up against the top male tennis player in the world in the Italian Jannik Sinner, who beat World No. 5 Daniil Medvedev in four sets. Sinner is the heavy favorite heading into Friday’s semifinal play.

Coverage of the Men’s Semifinal #1 match will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET on Friday, with Men’s Semifinal #2 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET. It has yet to be announced which game will be in each slot but don’t miss any of the 2024 U.S. Open Men’s Tennis Semifinals on ESPN.
