About the 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event
The legendary Lon McEachern and Norman Chad will be back in the WSOP booth as they have been for over 20 years. They will be joined by Women’s Poker Hall of Famer Maria Ho, who finished 445th in the Main Event this year.
The 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event featured a record-breaking field of 10,112 entrants and a prize pool of $94,041,600. Every player at the final table is guaranteed at least $1 million with prizes jumping with each elimination. Despite the record number of players in the tournament this season, the table is stacked with season pros. Final tableists Brian Kim, Jason Sagle, and Jonathan Tamayo have all finished in the top 25 of Main Events in the past. Joe Serock was the 2012 World Poker Tour Player of the Year and Niklas Astedt is the former No. 1 ranked online poker player in the world. Kim and Serock are both in search of their respective second bracelets.
