About the Indian cricket team’s tour of England
The Indian national team hasn’t won a Test cricket series on English soil since 2007, so the club will face a stern test, not to mention a battle against history. Shubman Gill is taking over as captain for the Indian team, after the departure of legendary skipper Rohit Sharma into retirement.
The English side will be led into the match by captain Ben Stokes, and are on a hot streak at Headingley Cricket Grounds in Leeds, where the first Test is taking place. Will that record of success continue against India?
