About 2025 IndyCar season

Alex Palou of Spain enters the 2025 season with the chance to win his third IndyCar championship in a row. But it won’t be an easy journey; talented drivers from across the globe, such as Australia’s Scott Dixon and Scott McLaughlin, America’s Josef Newgarden and Colton Herta, and Mexico’s Pato O’Ward will do their best to bring down Palou and climb to the top of the IndyCar standings themselves.

This will be the first season that Fox takes over broadcasting duties for IndyCar races. Every race will be shown on the Fox broadcast network, with qualifying sessions and Indy NXT events airing on FS1 and FS2. The sole exception will be the Indianapolis 500, which will air its qualifying sessions on Fox as well.

Why we chose Hulu + Live TV to watch the 2025 IndyCar season

Hulu + Live TV gets the green flag as far as watching the 2025 IndyCar season from The Streamable’s experts. It carries Fox in a long list of American TV markets, and also offers FS1 and FS2 in its base channel package as well. All new customers get a three-day free trial of Hulu + Live TV as well.

In addition to the trial, all Hulu + Live TV customers get free access to the Disney Bundle as part of their subscription with plans starting at $83 per month. That means Disney+, Hulu, and more sports content via ESPN+ are available with a subscription.

Hulu Live TV

Hulu Live TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 70 channels for $89.99 per month. Hulu + Live TV base plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). Subscribers get free access to Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra charge.

…

Where it really separates itself is value. Your subscription doesn’t just cover live TV — it also includes full access to Hulu’s on-demand library, plus bundled subscriptions to Disney+ and ESPN Select content at no extra cost. That means you’re getting everything from next-day network TV episodes and Hulu Originals, to Marvel, Star Wars, and live sports content all in one place without juggling multiple bills.

For sports fans, Hulu + Live TV also includes regional sports networks (RSNs) in select areas, a feature many competing services have dropped. That can be a big deal if you’re trying to follow local MLB, NBA, or NHL teams.

The DVR experience is another strong point. Subscribers get unlimited cloud DVR storage and the ability to fast-forward through commercials on recorded content — a feature that used to cost extra but is now standard. It’s designed to feel closer to a traditional cable DVR, just without the box.

If you want to customize further, several add-ons are available. You can upgrade to premium channels like HBO, Showtime, or Starz, add an unlimited streams option for households with lots of viewers, or go ad-free on Hulu’s on-demand content (live TV will still include ads).

Overall, Hulu + Live TV is less about being the cheapest option and more about being the most comprehensive. It’s built for people who want live TV, on-demand shows, and bundled streaming services all under one roof — without having to piece everything together themselves.

What are all the streamers you can use to watch the 2025 IndyCar season?

You’ll need a streamer that carries Fox, FS1, and FS2 to watch IndyCar races, NXT events, and qualifying sessions.

Fubo and YouTube TV carry each of those three networks in their base channel packages, and both have free trials of varying length, depending on what time of month you sign up. You can get YouTube TV’s channel package for $83 per month, and Fubo’s will cost you $85.

You’ll need the Sports add-on pack with a DIRECTV STREAM plan (starting at $87 per month) to watch FS2. That add-on is an additional $15 per month, but DIRECTV STREAM does come with a five-day free trial for all new customers

Sling TV doesn’t come with a free trial, but even if you have to pay an extra $11 per month to get FS2 in its Sports Extra package, its base plans cost only $46 per month. That makes Sling the cheapest option to watch IndyCar races, if you live in one of the 18 Sling markets that carries Fox.
