About the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix
The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series heads to Austin this weekend for the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on Sunday, March 2. This 2.356-mile, 20-turn road course is one of the toughest on the schedule, with tight corners, high-speed straights, and major elevation changes making for an unpredictable race. Drivers will battle through 95 laps and 228 miles, with last year’s winner, William Byron, looking to defend his title. But with 16 drivers who’ve already won on road courses, the competition is wide open.
Adding to the hype, Jack Quaid (yep, the guy from “The Boys”) is serving as Grand Marshal and will give the “Start Your Engines” command. Coverage starts at 3:30 p.m. ET on Fox, so expect plenty of aggressive passes, strategic pit calls, and maybe even some late-race fireworks as drivers chase the checkered flag.
