Why do we recommend watching 2025 US Open qualifying on ESPN+?
Although you can watch the 2025 U.S. Open qualifier rounds on ESPN2 and ESPNEWS in part, you’ll be able to stream every second of each match with an ESPN+ subscription. This costs just $12 per month and will get you much more access than a live TV streamer that will cost more and only come with a selection of U.S. Open qualifying.
Keep in mind that on Thursday, Aug. 21, ESPN+ will become the ESPN select plan as part of the larger revamp of ESPN’s direct-to-consumer efforts. You won’t have to do anything as an ESPN+ subscriber to make the change, and you won’t have to pay any extra in the process.
Can you stream 2025 US Open qualifying for free?
ESPN+ does not offer a free trial of any kind, so using it won’t allow you to watch any U.S. Open qualifying with a free trial.
DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all offer free trials of at least some duration, and each carries ESPN2 and ESPNEWS in select packages.
