Why do we recommend watching ‘A Minecraft Movie’ on Max?
There’s one simple but highly compelling reason to watch “A Minecraft Movie” on Max: it’s the only streaming service you can use to watch the movie with a subscription. It’ll also be much cheaper than watching on linear HBO with a live TV streaming service that carries that channel.

Can you stream ‘A Minecraft Movie’ for free?
No, Max does not offer a free trial of any kind. The cheapest way to watch the streamer is with a subscription to its ad-supported plan, which costs $10 per month or $100 per year. You can also go ad-free for $17, or upgrade to the Premium plan for $21.

About ‘A Minecraft Movie’
“A Minecraft Movie” follows the tale of four miscreants — Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn — who are all just trying to deal with their normal problems in the normal world. But one day, each of them is whisked off through a mysterious portal into the Overworld, a wonderland of cubes that can be built into literally anything the mind can imagine.
To get back home, they’ll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve. Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative…the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world.
