Can you watch ‘American Horror Story 13’ for free?
Hulu does not offer a free trial to new or returning customers at this time. The cheapest way to watch the show with Hulu is using the ad-supported tier, which costs $12 per month. For $1 more, users can add a Disney+ subscription to Hulu, creating the Disney Bundle. You could also get a free trial with a live TV streamer like Hulu + Live TV (three days), DIRECTV (five days), YouTube TV (two to 21 days), or Fubo (one to seven days), but none of them would carry you through the full season. However, a subscription to Hulu + Live TV does come with the full Disney Bundle, so if you wanted to catch the first three episodes for free and then watch the rest either live or on-demand, that’s a pretty good option too.

What is ‘American Horror Story: 13’ about?
“American Horror Story” is embracing its unlucky number with Season 13, turning the anthology into something of a nightmarish reunion. Rather than introducing an entirely disconnected setting and cast of characters, the new installment brings familiar faces — and some familiar characters — from the show’s past into a new present-day story. At the center of it is newcomer Ben DeSoto (Joey Pollari), a hospice worker caring for a wealthy elderly patient with a mysterious history, just as the number 13 begins appearing with increasingly sinister consequences.
The season promises new terrors, a “supreme surprise,” and plenty of connections to earlier chapters, particularly “Murder House,” “Coven,” “Hotel,” and “Cult.” Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Frances Conroy, Jamie Brewer, John Carroll Lynch, Mena Suvari, Mat Fraser, and Jessica Lange are among the returning stars, with many reprising fan-favorite roles. The result appears designed as both a celebration of the franchise’s history and a new horror story in its own right, meaning longtime viewers should catch plenty of callbacks while newcomers can still follow the central mystery without having seen all 12 previous seasons.
