About “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez”
From executive producer Ryan Murphy (“American Crime Story”), comes a dramatic look at one of the strangest and most tragic football stories ever. Aaron Hernandez – a star for the New England Patriots - was arrested in 2013 for the murder of Odin Lloyd and subsequently found guilty and sentenced to life without parole. He was also charged in a 2012 double homicide but was acquitted in 2017. Days after his acquittal, Hernandez was found dead by suicide in his prison cell. After his death, doctors diagnosed him with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain condition caused by repeated head injuries in football.
Starring Josh Rivera, Jaylen Barron, and Lindsay Mendez, the series will track the battle Hernandez had with his own demons and the people around him who watched him decline. Don’t miss the first two episodes when they drop on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

Hulu + Live TV is our favorite way to watch “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez”, especially now that it offers a three-day free trial. And with plans starting at $76.99 per month, you can save a bit of money by going with this service. Not only does it carry tons of top channels, but it also includes Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu in the price, which is a $14.99 monthly value. That makes Hulu + Live TV too good of a bargain to ignore for those who like to optimize their budgets.
Keep in mind that on Oct. 17, Disney will raise the price of nearly all of its streaming products, including Hulu + Live TV. Both the plan that includes the ad-supported Disney bundle and the one that comes with the ad-free option will increase by $6 per month.
