About “Janet Planet”
The feature directorial debut of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker, the coming-of-age drama “Janet Planet” is set in rural Western Massachusetts in the summer of 1991 and follows Janet (Julianne Nicholson), a magnetic acupuncturist, and her 11-year-old daughter, Lacy (Zoe Ziegler), whose imagination is more thrilling than her reality.
