The Barclays Women’s Super League (BWSL) is bringing two of its most prestigious teams to ESPN2 and ESPN+ this weekend. Manchester City will face Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, Nov. 8 starting at 2:30 p.m. ET, the first of 57 BWSL matches that will air on ESPN platforms in 2024-25. The BWSL is the top level of women’s soccer in England, and viewers are best served watching Friday’s match with a three-day free trial of Hulu + Live TV.

About Manchester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Man City currently sits at the top of the BWSL table, with 16 points so far. Tottenham is seventh with seven points, but isn’t likely to be intimidated by Manchester or anyone else in the BWSL. This is the first of two matchups the clubs will play this season; the second is scheduled for March 2025.

The BWSL has more FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 players than any other league in the world in its 12 clubs, and the top three teams from the league at the end of the season will be invited to the UEFA Women’s Champions League. The team finishing last will be relegated to the Barclays Women’s Championship.
