A few days ahead of Mexican Independence Day, Mexican boxing superstar Canelo Álvarez will put his multiple championship belts on the line against American Edgar Berlanga. In addition, there will be six undercard matches, including two title matches. The action will start at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 15 on DAZN pay-per-view. Mexican Icon Canelo Álvarez is set to face off against undefeated American fighter Edgar Berlanda on Mexican Independence Weekend. The bout will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 14 with the card kicking off at 8 p.m. ET. Three years ago, Álvarez became the first boxer to become the undisputed Super Middleweight Champion, a distinction he held until July of this year when the IBF title was vacated.

Berlanga is currently 22-0 in his professional career, but the match against Álvarez will be a major challenge, as the 34-year-old Mexican legend is arguably the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter. Also on the card will be a match between Erislandy Lara and Danny Garcia for the WBA Middleweight title and Caleb Plant and Trevor McCumb for the Interim WBA Super Middleweight Title.
