Start anew with “Clean Slate.” Produced by the late great Norman Lear’s Act III Productions, the heartfelt comedy stars legendary comedian George Wallace and four-time Emmy nominee Laverne Cox as a father and daughter who try to get it right the second time when they reunite after 17 years. It’s a difficult time in the country (and world) for trans people, to say the least, and “Clean Slate,” which combines trans joy and unconditional love with Lear’s classic style, is the perfect show for the moment. Watch all eight episodes of “Clean Slate” on Feb. 6 with a subscription to Prime Video.
