About ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 34
The long-running dance competition series pairs professional dancers with celebrities, influencers, athletes, and other stars. Each couple is hoping to survive each round of the competition and take home the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy. Every week, the couples must choreograph and learn a dance that fits a specific theme. Costumes and song choice are also important.
After performing their dances in front of the judges and live audience, each couple is given a score. Paired with fans’ votes, their score determines whether they stay in the competition or go home. Throughout the season, the stars are expected to improve and continue earning their spot on the show. By the end of the season, just one couple will be left standing.
