Eyes of Wakanda is a new animated series set in the MCU coming to Disney+.

Disney+ is rolling out another new animated series to delight Marvel fans. “Eyes of Wakanda” is debuting on the streamer on Friday, Aug. 1. The show follows the adventures of brave warriors of Wakanda throughout history as they travel the globe, ensuring the safety of their secretive country. As with all other Marvel titles, the only way to watch “Eyes of Wakanda” is with a subscription to Disney+.

Everything you need to know about ‘Eyes of Wakanda’

What time does ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ premiere?

All four episodes of “Eyes of Wakanda” will be released on Disney+ on Friday, Aug. 1 at 3:01 a.m. ET.

Why do we recommend watching ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ on Disney+?

“Eyes of Wakanda” will be a Disney+ exclusive, so audiences will have a very hard time watching the show anywhere else. The show will join titles like “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” on the streamer, along with all the other content set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

You can watch Disney+ with a direct subscription starting at $10 per month, or you can bundle it with Hulu starting at $11. There are options of the Disney Bundle with and without ads, and you can even add ESPN+ to your subscription for greater value still.

Disney+

Disney+ is a video streaming service with over 13,000 series and films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, The Muppets, and more. It is available in 61 countries and 21 languages. It is notable for its popular original series like “The Mandalorian,” “Ms. Marvel,” “Loki,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and “Andor.”

…

Disney+ has several plans with or without ads. Disney+ Basic with Ads costs $11.99 / month. If you don’t want ads, you can choose Disney+ Premium with No Ads, which costs $19.99 / month.

The Premium plan also offers an annual option for $189.99 / year ($15.83/mo.).

If you’d like to add Hulu, you can bundle the two services as well, but Disney+ is also continuing to integrate the two, which will soon be an all-in-one offering.

Sports fans can also bundle ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited, with or without ads.

Disney+ most recently raised prices on September 23, 2026 — the fourth time in as many years.

The app supports unlimited downloads (on their Premium Plans), four simultaneous streamers, up to 7 profiles, 4K streaming, and includes hundreds of avatars.

The service includes 25+ original series, 10+ original movies, 7,500 past episodes, 100 recent movies, and 400 library titles, including the entire Disney Vault.

About ‘Eyes of Wakanda’

The country of Wakanda is as secretive as it is advanced, but that secrecy isn’t easy to maintain. It takes endless vigilance to keep the country and its resources safe, and away from the prying eyes of the rest of the world, who might try to take the country’s most precious treasures away.

The show follows courageous Wakandan warriors throughout history as they travel the globe, carrying out dangerous missions to bring Vibranium artifacts back to their homeland. The series is executive produced by Ryan Coogler, the director who brought “Black Panther” to the silver screen.
