About “Caddo Lake”
The latest from “Topside” team Celine Held and Logan George, the Max Original film “Caddo Lake” is set on the border of Texas and Louisiana where an eight-year-old mysteriously vanishes and a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history.
While details around the thriller have been kept as closely guarded secrets, filmmakers Celine Held and Logan George were inspired to make the movie after stumbling across an online photo of Caddo Lake. This led them to eventually visit the cypress forest and conceive of the project.
Shot in 2021 and 2022 in and around Karnak, Texas, Dylan O’Brien leads the cast opposite Eliza Scanlen, Lauren Ambrose, Eric Lange, Sam Hennings, Diana Hopper, and more.
