The Liberty Patriots are no strangers to high-stakes games already this season, having taken on the No. 1-ranked team in Nevada when they faced Mililani last week. The Patriots fell 26-9 in that contest, falling to 0-2 as they look for a way to turn their season around. Quarterback Elijah Espinoza will look to get the team going as it hits the road for the first time.

They’ll face a stern test in the Mission Viejo Diablos, who are 2-0 on the year after smashing Santa Margarita 35-7. The Diablos are riding a nine-game win streak dating back to last season, and their average margin of victory is more than 26 points in those games. Jaden Williams notched three sacks in the Santa Margarita game for the Diablos.
