What is ‘Lioness’ Season 3 about?
Spoiler Alert. There are spoilers below for Season 1 and Season 2 of ‘Lioness.’
“Lioness” started with Joe running the CIA’s Lioness program while trying to keep her brutal work life from completely wrecking her family life. Season 1 focused on Cruz Manuelos going deep undercover, while Season 2 pushed the team into another dangerous operation with Captain Josephina Carrillo pulled into the mission. Basically, this show has never been shy about asking what these assignments cost the people carrying them out.
Season 3 sounds like it’s taking that pressure and tightening it even more. Expect plenty of hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals colliding as Joe walks the line between duty and home. Guided by Kaitlyn and Westfield, Joe has to confront enemies operating in the shadows, while realizing this war now reaches into every corner of her life.
Behind the scenes, “Lioness” still has Taylor Sheridan at the center. He created and writes the series, which is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
