Michael Fassbender takes on love and espionage in political thriller, ‘The Agency’
Inspired by the French hit ‘Le Bureau des Légendes,’ ‘The Agency’ is a ride you won’t want to miss.
“It’s the Agency. Nothing is personal.” Michael Fassbender feels differently, playing a tortured CIA operative forced out of deep cover, where he must choose between the woman he loves and his mission in the SHOWTIME original series, “The Agency.” Jodie Turner-Smith plays Fassbender’s rekindled flame, while heavy-hitters Jeffrey Wright and Richard Gere round out the cast. You can watch the first two episodes when they premiere ahead of the on-air debut on Friday, Nov. 29 with a subscription to Paramount+ With SHOWTIME.

About ‘The Agency’
The 10-episode political espionage series, “The Agency” is a fresh spin on the hit French spy drama “Le Bureau des Légendes,” turning its tense world of espionage into something even more thrilling. The story follows Martian (Michael Fassbender), a top CIA agent called back to London Station after years undercover.
His return gets complicated fast when an old flame (Jodie Turner-Smith) reappears, reigniting feelings that put his heart, career, and mission on a collision course. Together, they’re thrown into a deadly game of international espionage with life-or-death stakes. With George Clooney and Grant Heslov producing, it should be a slick, character-driven look at the high-stakes world of modern spies. You can watch the first two episodes of the 10-episode series on Friday, Nov. 29, with subsequent eps dropping weekly.
