About ‘Star Trek: Section 31’
“Section 31” will take viewers inside the organization responsible for protecting the Federation against its most dire threats. That’s where Philippa Georgiou comes in, but it’s not the Captain Georgiou who once commanded the U.S.S. Shenzhou. Rather, her counterpart from the evil Mirror Universe has crossed over and is now one of Section 31’s most terrifying agents.
Former Empress Georgiou is still trying to find her place in this universe, a place where her most destructive impulses aren’t allowed to surface. She’ll have to wrangle the demons of her past, all while trying to hunt down and destroy the most serious threats to Federation security.
