About ‘Rick & Morty: The Anime’
“Rick & Morty: The Anime” will offer 10 episodes, and fans can either watch the English-language version or wait for the subtitled version in Japanese to debut on Saturday, Aug. 17 on Toonami. The series will follow the Smiths on a new intergalactic adventure, with plenty of stops, hijinks, and maybe even a war crime or two along the way, knowing Rick.
At the beginning of the series, however, Rick is found just relaxing in a pseudo-world between the multiverses. Fans know, however, that his blissful state won’t last long. Summer helps Space Beth fight the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falls in love with a mysterious girl who happens to be an atemporal being. What in the multiverse could go wrong??
