About ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’
“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” continues the Russo family’s story, bringing back familiar faces and introducing new wizards. The series follows an adult Justin Russo (David Henrie) and his family. He’s decided to ditch magic and live a life of mortality, putting the focus on his family, Giada, Roman, and Milo.
However, Justin’s plans are interrupted by his sister, Alex Russo (Selena Gomez). She introduces him to a young wizard, Billie, who needs a mentor while training. This brings Justin back into the wizarding world that he’s left behind. Will magic come naturally to him after all this time, or could this mentorship complicate things?
In addition to making an appearance in the premiere, Selena Gomez is an executive producer. The series also stars Janice LeAnn Brown, Mimi Gianopulos, Alkaio Thiele, and Max Matenko.
“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” introduces the magical world to a new generation of Disney Channel fans. “Wizards of Waverly Place” first premiered in 2007 and ran for four seasons. All four seasons are currently streaming on-demand on Disney+.
