Cerritos…or at the very least, the final season. “Star Trek: Lower Decks” Season 5 will be the last of the animated Trek show, and it premieres on Thursday, Oct. 24 on Paramount+. The show centers on the crew of the Cerritos, specifically the young officers who are stuck doing menial tasks below while the bridge crew hogs all the glory. About ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’

“Star Trek: Lower Decks” beams audiences aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos, a California-class starship that specializes in making second contact with species recently introduced to the Federation. It’s not exactly the most important job in the fleet, but don’t tell anyone on the Cerritos they’re playing second fiddle!

Join Lieutenants Beckett Mariner, Brad Boimler, D’Vana Tendi, and Sam Rutherford as they stumble, bumble, and ultimately excel in a new series of adventures across the Alpha Quadrant. New friends, old villains and plenty of references to the old Trek episodes fans love the most will be in abundance as the Cerritos leaps into action for one final season.
