One of the biggest sporting events of the year is less than a week away, and if you haven’t already locked down your game plan for watching, now is the time to do it. The game will be streamed live on NBC, which means you’ll need a live TV streaming service like DIRECTV or YouTube TV to watch — or a subscription to Peacock — but that may not be the best option for you if you happen to be traveling and will be away from home. Thankfully, you can easily access your favorite Super Bowl stream — in some cases for free — no matter where you are with the help of a VPN. That means even if you won’t be on your actual couch for Super Bowl Sunday, you can still stream the game like you would back home.

How to watch Super Bowl LX with a VPN

• When: Starts Sunday, Feb. 8 at 6:00 p.m. ET
• TV: NBC, Peacock, 7plus, CTV, Sky Sports
• From anywhere: Watch with a subscription to ExpressVPN

Super Bowl LX will be broadcast live on NBC this Sunday, February 8th. If you have access to a live TV streaming service and are in a market where NBC is available, you’re already good to go. Alternatively, Peacock will also carry the broadcast, making it even easier to catch the game. For those of you who will be traveling and away from home, however, it may not be that easy. Thankfully, a VPN can help ease the pain by letting you access your favorite stream on the go, even for the Big Game.

ExpressVPN is our provider of choice for the Super Bowl and general streaming away from home. After signing up for a plan (the two-year is the best bang for your buck!), all you have to do is fire up the ExpressVPN app on your favorite device, pick a server close to home, and stream away. That means you can watch a stream from home in Canada (CTV), the UK (Sky Sports), or even the free 7plus stream from Australia with no hassle.

ExpressVPN is one of the best providers around, at one of the best prices. Currently, you can get a month of service for as little as $5. ExpressVPN is the most-trusted VPN on the market and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. ExpressVPN offers servers in 105 countries, best-in-class encryption, 24/7 live support, and the fastest speeds available.

What is a VPN?

A VPN is a tool we recommend often, not only for letting you stream content when you’re away from home, but also for staying protected online. The benefits are abundant, giving you peace of mind that your browsing is safe from hackers and data thieves, and your privacy remains intact. These benefits are great for everyday internetting at home, but even more so when traveling and using public Wi-Fi in airports, hotels, or other foreign places, where you can easily go about your business knowing you’re protected by a VPN. What’s more, you can access streams as you would at home, making a VPN an indispensable tool no streamer should be without.

Game on!

Don’t let the stress of figuring out where to watch the game bog you down come Sunday. Get yourself sorted ahead of time so you’re 100% game-ready at kickoff. If you don’t have access to a live TV streaming service or Peacock, it’s best to fire up ExpressVPN to access your home stream for the game so you feel like you’re right at home for the biggest sports night of the year.
