Why do we recommend watching the 2025 British Open on Sling TV?

The 2025 British Open will be easy to stream with Sling TV, and what’s more, the service comes with a great price. Even at the normal monthly price of $46, Sling TV is an extremely good value, but with a first-month discount of 50%, new customers can sign up for the Sling Blue plan for just $23 per month.

Sling comes with a great lineup of features. Its channel packages include 30+ networks each, including a mix of news, sports, and entertainment channels. There are different networks in each package, but you can switch back and forth between Sling Orange and Sling Blue at no additional cost when you’re a Sling customer.

Sling doesn’t carry NBC in all markets, only the ones listed in the table below. However, you’ll have to sign up for Peacock anyway to get 100% of the coverage of this year’s British Open, and Peacock will stream all of NBC’s coverage of the Open. Even with the cost of Peacock ($8 per month) added to Sling, you’ll still be watching the tournament for less than you would with any other service.
