The 52nd annual event returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, May 25 at 8 p.m. ET. We suggest tuning in to the 2026 American Music Awards on CBS with a five-day free trial to DIRECTV’s MySports package or with a subscription to Paramount+.

Why do we suggest watching 2026 American Music Awards on DIRECTV?

If you’re interested in watching the 2026 American Music Awards on CBS, you will need to subscribe to a live TV streaming service. There are several options out there, but DIRECTV’s MySports package is our expert recommendation. The best part is that you can stream the awards show at no cost, thanks to a five-day free trial available to new subscribers. Since the event is just one night, you will have a few more days to explore the full channel lineup and features.

After a free trial, it costs just $65 per month, which is one of the cheapest ways to get access to CBS.

Yes, you can watch the 2026 American Music Awards for free with a five-day trial to DIRECTV’s MySports package.

If you’re interested in other options, you could use YouTube TV, which also offers a free trial. However, it’s much less straightforward than DIRECTV. YouTube TV’s trial can run anywhere from a couple of da9788ple of weeks.

Where else is 2026 American Music Awards streaming?

If you are currently subscribed to a live TV streaming service that carries CBS, you will be able to watch the 2026 American Music Awards there. As mentioned, we recommend using DIRECTV’s MySports package because of its generous free trial and affordable regular pricing. It’s certainly not your only option though.

The 2026 American Music Awards will be streaming on Paramount+. Currently, there is not a free trial, so a paid subscription is required. You can subscribe to the Essential tier at $8 per month or the Premium option at $13 a month.

As mentioned, YouTube TV also includes CBS and starts at $83 per month. A couple of other live TV streaming services include CBS as well.
