The most unhinged competition show on TV is back. The 12th season of “The Masked Singer” is set to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox which you can stream on five live TV streaming services. The season will see 15 contestants battle it out for the coveted Golden Mask Trophy and there will be a number of significant changes to how the game is played this season. If you want to stream the entire season of “The Masked Singer,” I recommend you sign up for a three-day free trial of Hulu + Live TV.

About ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 12
Every season of “The Masked Singer” brings unimaginable new surprises, but this season they are introducing a host of Masked Ambassadors who will help doll out some of the biggest clues of the season. Every single contestant will have a connection to an ambassador — all of whom are alums of the show — and their friends will reveal hints about their true identities throughout the season. Some of the celebs returning as ambassadors are Dick Van Dyke (formerly known as Gnome), Jewel (Season 6 winner Queen of Hearts), NE-YO (Season 10 winner Cow) and DeMarcus Ware (formerly known as Koala).
Also, to celebrate a dozen seasons on the air, “The Masked Singer” will be featuring numerous theme nights across the season, with songs centered on Barbie’s 65th anniversary of Mattel’s, the iconic movie “Footloose” — which is celebrating its 40th anniversary — and pop-culture phenom Miley Cyrus. The show will also bring back some of its fan-favorite classic themes like “Soundtrack of My Life” and “Thanksgiving Night,” with new ones joining the mix as well like “Sports Night,” “‘60s Night,” and “Who Are You Fest” which will feature songs from iconic music festivals.
Of course on hand to guide the audience through the madness will be host Nick Cannon and judges Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Rita Ora — back on the American panel for the second season as Nicole Scherzinger makes her Broadway debut in “Sunset Boulevard” this fall.
Who Are the Contestants on ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 12
While don’t exactly know who the celebrity contestants will be on the twelfth season of “The Masked Singer” we do know what gorgeously elaborate costumes they will be donning. For the first time since Season 7, there will not be any Wild Card contestants, or anyone joining the show mid-competition. That means that (unless Nick Cannon and company throw us a curveball) we know all 15 of the characters who will be involved this season.
The 15 contestants will be divided into three groups with one winner from each set of five advancing — with the possibility of a Ding-Dong-Keep-It-On-Bell recipient making out of the group stage as well.

When Will Episodes of “The Masked Singer” Season 12 Air?
Fox has not yet confirmed the total number of episodes in Season 12 of “The Masked Singer,” but the first 11 have been announced, with one potential hiccup in the schedule. On Wednesday, Oct. 30, the network will only air a new episode of “The Masked Singer” if the fifth game of the World Series is not being played. Whether that is because of a four-game sweep or inclement weather, baseball gets priority over costumed celebrities on that night.

Why I Recommend Hulu + Live TV to Watch ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 12
If you were just looking to watch the Season 12 premiere of “The Masked Singer, I likely would have opted for DIRECTV STREAM, because its industry-leading five-day free trial is two days longer than Hulu + Live TV’s. However, if you are looking for a live TV streaming service to watch the entire season, then I think that Hulu is the best option.
In addition to the three-day trial, if you sign up now, you will get your first month of Hulu + Live TV for $77. However, that total will go up by $6 in October, when Disney is raising the price of almost all of its streaming services. Despite the impending price hike, what makes Hulu + Live TV such an attractive streaming option is that it comes with the complete Disney Bundle at no extra cost. So, in addition to all of the live channels you get access to, you will also receive the on-demand Hulu library, all of Disney+, and ESPN+.
Not only does that mean that you will be able to stream any “Masked Singer” episodes that you miss on-demand without having to set a DVR, it also means that you will have access to all previous seasons of the show, as well as other competition series like “I Can See Your Voice,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “Name That Tune,” and more.
