How to watch ‘The Match: Superstars’

Everything you need to know to watch ‘The Match: Superstars’:

About ‘The Match: Superstars’

“The Match: Superstars” quarterfinals kick off with two 2-on-2 scramble matches: Bill Murray and Wayne Gretzky will take to the links against Charles Barkley and Ken Griffey Jr., while Mark Wahlberg and Michael Phelps take on Nate Bargatze and Blake Griffin. The semifinals and finals will switch to individual match play, with the ultimate winner earning a $1 million prize.

Hosted by Ernie Johnson, with analysts Trevor Immelman and Charles Barkley (even when he’s playing), course correspondent Bubba Watson, and reporter Kathryn Tappen, this event is sure to deliver (occasional?) high-level play and lots of trash talk.

Why do we recommend Sling TV to watch ‘The Match: Superstars’?

Sling TV is the cheapest live TV streaming service that gets you access to TNT, as well as other cable sports channels like ESPN, FS1, TBS, and more. TNT is available in both Sling’s Orange and Blue base packages, and we would recommend that you sign up for Orange, because that is the collection of channels that also features the ESPN family of networks.

The Sling Orange package costs just $40 per month (although that price will go up to $46 in December), but new customers get 50% off their first month, which means that you can stream both nights of “The Match” for just $20.

While you are able to watch the event live on Max, the cheapest subscription option for that service is $10 monthly. So, if you are a sports fan looking to stream this event, in our opinion, it is worth an extra $10 to have access to all of the live sports action that Sling can offer.

Sling TV

Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $40/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $40/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.

You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $55 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
