About ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 5
Things are bound to get hotter than ever in the fifth season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Taylor Frankie Paul is back from a rather well-publicized stint on “The Bachelorette,” and she’s got unfinished business to take care of, as well as an old temptation to try to overcome.
Meanwhile, Whitney Leavitt has made her Broadway debut in New York City, but not all of her old demons have been left behind. In Utah, the limits of loyalty are pushed as secrets and controversy threaten to bury #MomTok. Has the group pushed their stardom as far as it can go?
Taylor will once again be at the center of much of this season’s chaos. The new season picks up after her stint filming “The Bachelorette,” including the revelation that she became engaged to contestant Doug Mason before returning home and reconnecting with ex Dakota Mortensen. The complicated relationship between Taylor and Dakota eventually became an even larger story, as allegations stemming from a domestic dispute led to investigations, legal proceedings, and even a temporary pause in production earlier this year. Season 5 is expected to address at least some of that fallout.
But Taylor won’t be the only member of MomTok whose life has changed dramatically. Whitney’s burgeoning entertainment career takes her to New York and Broadway, creating even more distance between her and the Utah group.
