About ‘The Voice’
“The Voice” sets itself apart from other singing competition shows by focusing first on contestants’ voices. The show begins with blind auditions. As each contestant takes the stage to audition, the four coaches face the opposite direction. If the singer’s voice captures a coach’s attention, they can press a button to turn their chair around, expressing interest in adding the singer to their team. The coaches may battle it out if needed but only have a limited number of spots on their team. Sometimes, the ball is in the singer’s court, and they can select the coach that best fits their music style.
Each week, the coaches and guest mentors offer guidance to their team of rising stars. Then, each contestant has the chance to take the stage and win viewers’ votes. After the blind audition episodes, the contestants will take part in the battle rounds, the knockouts, and the live performance shows. They must survive each round of eliminations to make it to the finale. Waiting for one talented singer at the end of the competition is $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group. The winning coach also receives a special trophy to recognize their accomplishments.
Who Are the New Coaches on ‘The Voice’ Season 26?

Carson Daly has hosted the series since its debut in 2011 and returns for Season 26.
