About UFC 304: Edwards vs. Muhammad 2
The top of the UFC 304 card will feature a rematch between two of the elite welterweights on the mixed martial arts scene. Champion Leon Edwards (22-3) and second-ranked Belal Muhammad (23-3) will square off in a follow-up to their 2021 no-contest main event. Edwards has won 12 straight dating back to 2016 and is hoping to defend the belt for the third consecutive outing. Similarly, Muhammad is on a nine-bout winning streak since 2019.
The co-main event will also be a rematch. In 2022, a knee injury prematurely ended the first meeting between current interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall (14-3) and No. 4 Curtis Blaydes (18-4). Both fighters own substantial pieces of history. Coming into the match, Aspinall holds a 100% career finish rate as well as the shortest average fight time in UFC history. On the other side of the octagon, Blaydes leads UFC’s heavyweight division with the most takedowns.
Play-by-play announcer Jon Anik will be on the call and he will be joined by former two-division champion Daniel Cormier and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping as analysts. Megan Olivi will be outside the octagon reporting.
